Opened in late 2009 and located in the Colonial Plaza shopping center, the Sweet Tastin Bakery served up fresh and flavorful pastries and more!
This family-owned shop had a menu that included fresh baked breads, rolls, doughnuts, cinnamon buns, cookies, brownies, lemon squares, cakes, pies, cupcakes, éclairs, cheesecakes (my favorite!) and other baked goods and selected specials.
They also did custom orders for weddings, birthdays, meetings, graduations, etc. Just take a look at the custom made cakes on this page. They are just beautiful! To top it all off, you could also get ice cream (cones, sundaes and banana splits) here as well as hot and iced coffee, cold beverages, fruit smoothies and even balloons for your party and celebration needs.
You may have found them running special promotions on June 3rd, "National Donut Day" and on the 3rd Sunday (Sundae!) in July, which is "National Ice Cream Day."
Members of the NSWC Federal Credit Union got a 10% discount off their total transaction on Wednesdays. Proof of membership must be presented to receive the discount.
