So Many Memories!

My brother and I were exposed to Colonial Beach in the mid 70's when our parents bought an Open Road RV and drove here. We didn't have the RV that long until they bought a station wagon and later the trailer at the southern end of the beach right next to a pier. We were practically there every weekend, it took us an hour to get there as we were from Clinton, MD. Most of our parents' friends had a place at the beach, they would always call it the beach (not like Ocean City, MD). We visited the beach until I went into Junior high in the early 80's. We were also practically a member of the pool that once stood next to the old hotel before the hotel was torn down. About late 1990's when I was in the military stationed in VA, I drove to the beach and found that our trailer was no longer there!!!
