Come enjoy Muse Restaurant on the Boardwalk in Colonial Beach! Opening Day on Thursday, January 18, 2024 was a rousing success at this pizzeria and arcade located on one side of the ground floor of the Osprey Flats condominium building.
Kelsey Biser is busy with front-of-house preparations, including recruiting energetic and attentive servers. She's also overseeing the bar program for both the Muse Restaurant and the adjacent Drift (seafood, bar).
A pizza place was the very first restaurant Chef Robyn Carter worked in and she has been busy fine-tuning them as well as dishes like crab soup and nicoise salads in her test kitchen in Richmond in preparation for the soft opening of the newest Boardwalk eateries in town.
The eatery is named after a prominent family in the Colonial Beach area. You may have read about Mr. Berkeley Muse in articles about the area Oyster Wars from back in the day. The establishment's name is a bit of a tip of the hat to the family.

I really enjoyed the It's All Love cocktail. It has a nice sweet, flowery vibe. The BLT (bacon, lettuce and tomato) sandwich is very tasty as well. I like that they use arugula lettuce as that gives the sandwich a very nice flavor.
Muse Restaurant features indoor seating with booths and tables as well as a large bar. There is also an arcade games corner. Outside you'll find an expansive covered patio lounge area with comfy seating in front of two television sets and hi-top tables with a waterfront view of the river and Boardwalk. There is also a long outdoor bar seating area.
