Magnolia Hall
Located in what started out as a four bedroom house built in 1900, Magnolia Hall is the latest boutique home decor store to open in Colonial Beach. It sits next to Hunan Diner near the corner of Washington and Colonial Avenues.
This structure has seen many different uses throughout history. It was most recently poised to be a bed and breakfast venue called Under The Magnolias. Prior to that around 2009 it was an office space. Before that it was Eye of Newt Embroidery shop,
The building was purchased by the current owners in April of 2024 and Curator Scott has been busy collecting clothing, home decor and cool gadgets to fill the shop with. Loving Colonial Beach but tired of driving elsewhere for shopping is the reason for the opening of this business. The scheduled opening date is slated for the last week in August of 2024.
