Spring of 2024 - the launch date for this bar on the water departing daily in season from the Yacht Center on Castlewood Drive.
A floating tiki bar on the picturesque waters of Monroe Bay, what could be better? You and five of your friends enjoying libations aboard a captained bar boat that makes its way around the bay. Everyone in Town knows that this is where the best views of the sunset are.
These U.S. Coast Guard compliant vessels feature:
- Seating for six passengers and a captain (provided)
- A freshwater sink as well as a cooler full of ice
- A bluetooth speaker system
- Reinforced bamboo railings for additional stability
- Shade for every seat during the day and under-bar mounted lights for nighttime visibility
- Boarding ladder for easy swimming access
The boats are hand crafted of the finest quality materials available, according to American Boat and Yacht Council specifications.
The Cruisin Tikis company began operations in sunny Florida in 2015. That's where most of their franchises are located. There are others in Texas, Louisiana, North and South Carolina, New Jersey and there's even one in Wisconsin! The nearest one to us currently is Solomons Island, Maryland.
BYOB, snacks and up to five friends and you're all set for a couple hours of sipping and cruising!
The current plan is to have 2-hour cruises a few times per day. Pit stops for potty breaks are part of the cruise.
