Colonial Beach man played at the Grand Ole Opry with names like Johnny Cash and Patsy ClineVivid Vertigo is one of the prominent colonial beach bands Here's a shot of them performing at Bikefest 2018.
Another name that comes to mind is Tyler Nichols who has even done a "duet at the dump" with another local singer and guitarist, Harold Newnum.

Within Shadows - a new young band with a new sound trying to break into this tough industry full of talentless artists the labels go head over heels for.
Conclusions Of The Matter - a young solo acoustic act here at the beach who has set up a few times on the beach with an acoustic guitar and the folks around him loved and enjoyed his covers and his original music.
DJ 8 Bit Panda - an electronic music artist who knows how to get a party moving with his new style and amazing ear for music. He has been around for a year or two now and has impressed a few heads in the music industry.
Many different musical genres are represented in the area. While Nichols and Newnum play mostly in the Country music vein, there are Christian/Gospel, Hip Hop, Metal, Electronica, Rock and other styles played by local groups.
With a number of area performance venues, Colonial Beach bands have a lot of places to play. Many regional acts even travel to this area to perform for weekend crowds, especially during Bikefest.
There are regular shows at High Tides' "Black Pearl" tiki bar, Dockside and formerly on Town Hill during
Market Days & Bluemont Concerts.
Private clubs such as the Eagles, American Legion and the Moose Lodge often have bands playing on the weekends. Some shows are open to the public. Check our calendar page for dates and times.
